Your mission
3devo B.V. is looking for a skilled Embedded Software Engineer to join our R&D team. We are a leading innovator in the field of plastic recycling and processing technologies for additive manufacturing. Our product range includes filament extruders and shredders, all designed, developed, and manufactured in-house. Recently, we launched the latest iteration of our Filament Maker Two and are actively developing a range of add-ons to further enhance our machines.
Our Filament Maker is a compact extrusion system that turns plastic pellets or recycled materials into high-quality 3D printing filament. The newest generation runs on a Linux-based system with an integrated touchscreen interface. Inside, it combines precise control of heaters, motors, and sensors with a modern software stack, allowing users to experiment with materials, optimize settings, and produce consistent filament directly on-site. We're searching for someone who is interested in the 3D printing industry and is genuinely passionate about its future.
As an embedded software engineer at 3devo, you’ll be building the software that powers our filament makers. On a typical day you might:
